For community-minded students who have demonstrated excellence in volunteerism and leadership and who are committed to making a difference in their community.

AWARD AMOUNT: up to TBD

The award will be paid to the students upon confirmation of enrollment: it is intended to support the educational goals of the recipient and may be used for tuition or other expenses incurred in pursuit of the educational program.

ELIGIBILITY

High School Senior from Waterbury, Connecticut who will graduate in June (summer every year)
Plan to enroll in college in Fall (every year)
Provide a 2 Letters of recommendations by email, mail or completing the online form in this page
Provide High School Transcripts by mail/ scan and email to: info@madre-latina.com
Connecticut Resident
Citizen or Permanent Resident
Application must be postmarked by (TBD), (every year)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: In order to receive this award, recipients with parents (caregivers) are required to attend the Gala & Award reception. (call for more info at 203-232-7779)

The Recipient will receive one (1) complementary admission to the Gala & Award. Parents and guest needs to purchase their tickets for the Gala and Award Night. For tickets please contact Yoellie Iglesias at 203-232-7779

Venue: Wyndham Southbury, 1284 Strongtown Rd, Southbury, CT (84 W/Exit 16). This year the Gala is on Saturday, Oct 7, 2023
