Healthy Latina Program’s goal is to improve the quality of life of the Latinas and their families by coordinating a series of workshops culturally and linguistic component health wellness system that support their values and respect Latino’s families and our community.
Six Latino’s workshops with different objectives, knowing that sustainable health promotion require building on existing family’s strengths. This family-based approach will close the gab to access to care, prevention of chronic disease, increase ability to obtain nutrition foods, connect with mental health’s providers and resources, and the awareness of benefits to physical fitness.
